Spring Time

Flower Power was a symbol of the peace movement in the ‘60s. Flowers also are a sign spring is upon us. Spring denotes new beginnings and fresh starts. During this time of economic turmoil, allow the season of spring to sprout optimism in your life. What new beginning can you initiate in your life that will make it more satisfying? One way to evaluate this question and many others, is to put pen to paper. Get a spiral notebook (or email me and I will send you an ideaLizms journal) and spend 20 minutes, three times a week writing. Do it on your lunch hour, when you are trapped in a car pool line, when you wake up in the morning, or during baseball or ballet practices. You have no idea how insightful these thoughts can be. Post a reply here and share your thoughts.
Since we are featuring Flower Power here, which was a symbol of the peace movement, what can you do to make your life more peaceful?

We are going to do a little journaling in the Idealizms journals I'm handing out, a little blogging on here, and Jim is going to talk about intrapersonal communication and Jungian psychology. We invite you all to come.

  7. This reminds me of a quote from Hamlet "There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so" Me thinks this blog is good!

  8. Great to be here! I like listening to meditation music to make my life more peaceful. And I like to walk my dog first thing in the morning and "let go" of any negative thoughts. And then add positie thoughts regarding my upcoming day. Love spending time in my garden and recognizing the beauty of nature and how it is ever changing.

  10. we would sometimes feel happy and content if we stop and realize all we have to be thankful for that in everyday busy life we tend to take for granted and yes you may be frustrated at times because your busy with kids and jobs but there are some who have lost children in death and lost jobs just examples thank god for his mercy and love he gives everyday.
